A&P Ministries was created with a simple but vital purpose: to equip churches to strengthen marriages from within. We believe that for any ministry to thrive, there must be a champion—a pastor, a lay couple, or a leader in the congregation—who is willing to come alongside couples and guide them toward healthier relationships. Our role is to support and equip that champion by sharing insights, offering resources and class materials, and walking alongside them as they begin serving the couples in their church.

This ministry flows out of our years of work at The Relationship Center, where we had the privilege of walking with nearly 3,000 couples. While we are moving away from directly counseling couples, our desire to help has not lessened. Instead, we are focusing on multiplying impact by helping others help others. We provide a basic skillset, connect mentors to continuing education opportunities such as those offered through the American Association of Christian Counselors, and stand beside them as they learn and grow in this calling.

A key part of our vision is that this ministry is best carried out by a husband-and-wife team serving together. In our own work, we have always functioned side by side—even if not always in the same session—so that accountability, wisdom, and perspective flow from both voices. Sadly, many churches have experienced situations where serving alone has led to blurred boundaries or broken trust. When couples serve together, those risks are greatly reduced, and the ministry itself becomes a living testimony of God’s design for marriage.

The name A&P Ministries comes from Aquila and Priscilla, the New Testament couple always mentioned together in ministry. Their example reflects the heart behind what we do: serving side by side and equipping others to do the same. We believe strong marriages are built on biblical principles, and it is our joy to help churches cultivate an environment where those principles can be lived out and shared.
